Study trials for secondary school students agree: "Job opportunities are important for my choice of study"
This autumn, secondary school students from all over the country have been visiting Department of Computer Science to get an introduction to the department’s education programs in Computer Science and IT Product Development.
Study trials are secondary school students’ chance to get an idea of the education programs at universities and higher learning institutions. Department of Computer Science opened its doors to secondary school students earlier this autumn. The students got an introduction to courses in augmented reality and cryptology, as well as programming, algorithmics and interaction design.
Furthermore, they received information about admission requirements, an introduction to the study environment, guided tours at IT City Katrinebjerg and last but not least: they were given an overview of the many job opportunities after having studied Computer Science or IT Product Development. Especially the latter is important for young people who consider studying Computer Science or IT Product Development according to our interviews with four secondary school students (In Danish only).
