This year the AU, Science and Technology TAP Award went to Special consultant Søren Poulsen from the Departement of Computer Science for his unique contribution to the department over the past 12 years.
Congratulations to PhD student Daniel Gratzer! Daniel has just received a Distinguished Paper Award for at ICFP 2019, for the paper Implementing a Modal Dependent Type Theory.

The number of women enrolled in IT programs at Aarhus University has increased by 31 percent since 2016. This is more than at the national level.
On August 1, Alex Kavvos joined CPV as Postdoc. Alex studied Computer Science at the University of Oxford and completed a DPhil (PhD equivalent) in 2017. Following that, he moved to New England to work at Wesleyan University as a postdoc in Homotopy Type Theory. Alex is interested in the logical foundations of programming languages and computing at large. Welcome!
On August , Zesen Qian, joined CPV as a PhD student. Zesen completed my master degree at Carnegie Mellon University in the autumn of 2019, before that he completed his bachelor degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Welcome!
