Lars Birkedal has been elected as member of The Royal Danish Academy

of Sciences and Letters, in "the science class" (den naturvidenskabelige

klasse)". The committee works to strengthen the

position of science in Denmark, and in particular to promote basic

research and the interdisciplinary understanding hereof. See the full

The university is once again participating in the annual DHL Race (DHL Stafet) taking place August 18th at Mindeparken. It’s a fun and active thing to do together as colleagues regardless if your racing for competition or on a more ‘hyggelig’ basis J The DHL race gathers more than 47.000 people over three individual running days, all participating with their colleagues.
