Outstanding Paper Award at WINE 2025
Congratulations to our postdoc Zhile Jiang and professor Ioannis Caragiannis on receiving the Outstanding Paper Award at the 21st International Conference on Web and Internet Economics (WINE 2025), held at Rutgers University, USA.
Their award-winning paper, “Bounds on the revenue gap of linear posted pricing for selling a divisible item,” shows that simple, transparent pricing schemes can achieve revenue close to optimal—even when selling divisible goods like bandwidth or cloud resources. The results provide strong theoretical support for using simple pricing mechanisms in real-world digital markets.
