As a member of the general assembly, Kasper will help shape the future of theoretical computer science in Europe - promoting participation in key events and schools, strengthening connections between theory and practice, supporting community outreach and education, and contributing to the strategic direction of EATCS.

Founded in 1972, EATCS is a leading society devoted to advancing theoretical computer science. Its work includes organizing flagship conferences such as ICALP, publishing major journals and monographs, and awarding prestigious recognitions in the field, such as the Presburger Award and Test-of-Time Awards.

With his election, we are confident that Kasper will bring fresh vision, dedication, and leadership to the association - helping strengthen the role and impact of theoretical computer science in Europe and globally.

Congratulations, Kasper, on this significant achievement!
