Ken leads our Extended Interaction (XI) research team, focusing on cutting-edge Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Extended Reality (XR). His groundbreaking work explores how eye-hand symbiosis and innovative user interfaces can transform the way we interact with digital content in immersive environments.

One of Ken’s most notable contributions is his "gaze + pinch" interaction principle, which has set the scientific foundations for the user interface in technologies like Apple's Vision Pro headset. His research bridges visionary concepts and real-world applications, paving the way for the next generation of user experience across various platforms.

Ken is also an inspiring educator, teaching two master courses on Augmented Reality at the department. In these courses, students explore both the fundamentals and advanced aspects of AR - equipping them with the skills to innovate in this dynamic field.
