The budget for 2025 includes 52 senior VIP positions.
The open calls will continue with the hope of hiring 4-6 people per year.
3. Working conditions because of the Masters reform
In the future all degrees must be finished by June 1, which makes it harder to acquire the necessary ECTS in time. Because of reexams it also leads to problems for the employees who wish to take their holiday in the main vacation weeks.
It was pointed out that this is a problem that needs to be fixed higher up in the system.
4. Follow-up on the WPA
The action plans have been split into Tenure Track and senior VIP, where the Tenure Tracks have needed more focus. After dialogue and improvements, a lot of the problems have been resolved.
Focus still needs to be put on the conditions surrounding the Tenure Tracks, including stress levels.
The pedagogical course is still problematic.
The stress will be addressed at a seminar following a faculty meeting in the autumn.
5. AOB
Sports Day is on track and within the budget.
The Sustainability Committee has been appointed with Olav as the chairperson.
The Vive report regarding sexism and career paths was mentioned. The Code of Conduct will be handed out to all new PhDs. It was suggested that a committee should be formed to combat offending behaviour.
