To create webpages under the URL:
http://www.cs.au.dk/~your_username
you need to log in to one of our unix systems and create the directory
/web/your_username/public_html_cs
Just place the files you want to publish in this directory.
(Please don't put answers to exercises etc here. Others might be tempted to copy your material and submit it as their own.)
After you've created this directory you can create a shortcut from your home directory if you want.
ln -s /web/your_username/public_html_cs /users/your_username/public_html_cs
You can also create the /web/your_username/public_html_cs directory and upload your webpages via ftp to the server ftp.cs.au.dk
Or you can connect to the unix system fresh-horse.cs.au.dk by using ssh (unix), putty (windows) or terminal (mac).
If you just want the cs~ files to be the same as your daimi~ files, simply create a shortcut from public_html_cs to public_html.
ln -s /web/your_username/public_html /web/your_username/public_html_cs
