How to book the car?

• CS employees can book the car by inviting Miss Daimi as a resource in the Oracle Calendar system

Who can borrow the car?

• Employees at Aarhus University
• Students (after authorisation of the Head of Department)

Employees at the Department of Computer Science have priority

What can the car be used for?

• Official matters only

How to book the car

You book the car by inviting it as a resource in the Outlook Calendar, where it is called "Aarhus Bil CS Åbogade" -  in daily speech it is called "Miss Daimi".

Who can you bring as passenger(s) in the car?

• People on official matters only
   
• people who are not employed are self-insured

When can the car be reserved?

• The car can be reserved up to 6 months in advance
• Exact time of departure and return should be stated
• The car can be borrowed by others if it has not been picked up half and hour after the stated time of departure
• Change in the time of return should be arranged with Tina Rudolph (informations office)
• Cancellation of a reservation should be made as soon as possible

Insurance

When travelling outside Denmark the car has to be insured and you must bring the original Vehicle Registration Certificate and the red SOS assistance card. Contact Tina Rudolph at the information office in Ada-116 at least one week in advance to issue the neccesary insurance papers and get the documents.

 What does it cost to borrow the car?

• DKK 3.56 per kilometer (incl. diesel)

What are you responsible for when borrowing the car?

• Checking oil, lights etc.
• Filling in the cartage book correctly and clearly
• Obeying the law
• Not returning the car with an almost empty petrol tank
• Car wash (if necessary)
• Tidying up the car
• Reporting defects
