Danish finalists ready for World Robot Olympiad

Saturday October 1st, young robot programmers from Teknisk Gymnasium Thisted and Hjørring Gymnasium won the Danish finals of World Robot Olympiad (WRO) at Department of Computer Science.

Throughout the day young robot programmers from all over the country competed to find the Danish participants at this year’s edition of WRO – the most prestigious and profiled robot competition in the world.

Eventually two teams from Teknisk Gymnasium Thisted and Hjørring Gymnasium won the title as winners respectively in the 'Regular' and 'Open' category. Along with the winners from the university category "Advanced Robotics Challenge" (ARC), Teknisk Gymnasium Thisted and Hjørring Gymnasium will now be representing Denmark at the international finals at WRO in New Delhi, India November 25th -27th.
